The Extended Select box

The extended select box is very similar to a standard combo box. We are offered a list of options, like with combo boxes, but with an extended select box, we are able to select more than one option.

While the extended select box is not very common, you might want to know how to work with this form control.

When faced with an extended select box:

1. Move to the extended select box and press Enter to enable forms mode.
2. Press Shift F8. This is essential to enable Internet Explorer multiple selection mode.
3. Arrow up and down to review the options.
4. All of the items will be "unselected". Press Spacebar to select an item.
5. press TAB to move to the next form element, and leave the extended select box.

Now Move to the extended select box below by pressing TAB,
then press Enter to turn forms mode on,
